How to DonateTo achieve our mission, CMHA-NL relies on the generosity of people like you. In order to promote good mental health for all, and to support the recovery and resilience of persons and families living with mental illness, we need your support. A one-time gift or monthly donation will help us break down some of the barriers facing people who live with mental illness.
Tax receipts for one-time gifts will be issued within 4-6 weeks, however, monthly donor receipts will be issued before the end of the tax year.
You may donate online by clicking on the blue "Donate Now" button, or click on the link below to download a donation form, which you can then print, fill out, and mail to us. For more information, please contact us.

Become a Monthly DonorWhether it is depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, or any other mental illness or mental health issue that Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are currently facing, individuals and families look to CMHA-NL to help them find support in their communities so that they can begin or continue on their journeys of recovery and wellness.
A monthly gift to CMHA-NL will help us ensure that we are able to help these individuals and families find the supports, services and information that they are looking for. Monthly donations are a cost effective, efficient, and dependable source of funding for CMHA-NL. Your regular financial contributions will help our Division have a greater impact in supporting the one in five Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who will experience with a mental illness in their lifetime. As a monthly donor, you can rest assured that your generous support will serve its maximum potential in this province. Monthly donations that are made in your loved one’s name also make a great holiday gift!
There are many barriers to accessing mental health-related supports and services in this province, not least of which is the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health issues.
