Newfoundlanders and Labradorians from all walks of life. The essayists featured in Out Loud share their compelling and moving stories to bring more awareness to the stigma that is associated with mental

Work Well NL
CMHA-NL's Work Well NL website is an internet-based resource for people living with a mental illness in Newfoundland and Labrador that offers information on supports and services throughout the province that can help them finish school or pursue post-secondary education or training, and/or obtain and maintain employment. June 25, 2010 - On September 27 and 28th, 2010, at the Holiday Inn in St. John's, the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Nurses' Union (NLNU) will be holding their Innovations 2010 Conference. The theme for this year's conference is "Mental Health: Our Common Denominator." This conference will be of interest to health professionals, persons with mental illness and their families, and to anyone with an interest in mental health and mental illness--all are welcome to register and attend! Important information about Zyprexa
If you or someone close to you took the antipsychotic drug Zyprexa (olanzapine) prior to June 6, 2007, click here to download and read the notice of the hearing for the settlement approval of the Zyprexa class action lawsuit as it may affect your legal rights and you may be eligible for compensation. This information is important for individuals who have taken Zyprexa and have developed diabetes, hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis, or pancreatitis as a result. A copy of the full legal notice can be viewed at www.classaction.ca (English and French), www.classproceedings.ca, and www.poynerbaxter.com.
There is also a database being created of individuals who have taken Zyprexa and have developed these conditions. If you or someone you know wish to become a part of this database, click here to download and print the database information form, which you can then complete and send to the lawyers involved in the class action suit—their address is on the last page of the form.
