August 13, 2010 - During Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 3 - 9, 2010), join CMHA-NL at the Holiday Inn in St. John’s for Mindscapes Newfoundland and Labrador, our Fourth Annual Fundraising Gala, on Wednesday, October 6th starting at 6:30 PM. June 25, 2010 - On September 27 and 28th, 2010, at the Holiday Inn in St. John's, the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Nurses' Union (NLNU) will be holding their Innovations 2010 Conference. The theme for this year's conference is "Mental Health: Our Common Denominator." This conference will be of interest to health professionals, persons with mental illness and their families, and to anyone with an interest in mental health and mental illness--all are welcome to register and attend! Important information about Zyprexa

If you or someone close to you took the antipsychotic drug Zyprexa (olanzapine) prior to June 6, 2007, click here to download and read the notice of the hearing for the settlement approval of the Zyprexa class action lawsuit as it may affect your legal rights and you may be eligible for compensation. This information is important for individuals who have taken Zyprexa and have developed diabetes, hyperglycemia, ketoacidosis, or pancreatitis as a result. There is also a database being created of individuals who have taken Zyprexa and have developed these conditions.
